We’ve been hinting for months that a minority race team was coming to NASCAR. Well, here it is! On July 1, at 1:15pm Racing 4 Education (RFE), NASCAR Nationwide Racing Team will introduce the RFE Racing Team and the mission of the RFE initiative at the Press Conference Room at Daytona International Speedway.

This is going to be huge! And the fact that proceeds from the new race team will help provide college support for students in America and soon around the world makes this a team that all race fans can embrace.

Look for the eJams logo prominently displayed on the #19 car when we go racing July 1st at Daytona International Speedway. You’ll have to look hard to find it on the car but it’s there and we’ll post the photo as soon as the car hits the track.

We invite you to jump onboard, support the Racing For Education team, and watch what happens. It’s going to be quite a ride.

Diversity Motorsports Racing, LLC in partnership with the Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Preservation Institute, Inc (MMB Institute), presents Racing For Education, a new NASCAR Nationwide Series racing organization.

Racing For Education, LLC is a joint venture founded by Mr. Terrance Alton Cox III, industrialist and co-owner of Diversity Motorsports Racing; and Dr. Evelyn Bethune, President of the MMB Institute. As Mr. Cox says, “I think we all understand that higher education is a common goal for every country around the globe…that all children should be Racing For Education.”

Racing For Education starts with a race car on a NASCAR Nationwide Series track but evolves quickly into the development of a national brand and the weaving of various constituencies into a network of concerned Americans dedicated to assuring access to higher education for those less fortunate.

Racing For Education brings an opportunity for the Historically Black Colleges & Universities (“HBCU”s); the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (“HACU”s), and other colleges and universities across the country to develop a funding stream that is not subject to the political climate. Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune is quoted as saying: “Education is the key to freedom and knowledge is the prime need of the hour.” If that is true, then the opportunity for a quality education cannot be diminished by lack of funding. All people deserve a chance to achieve at the highest levels, no matter their circumstance or economic status.” In these precarious economic times, funding for education at all levels is being cut by city, county, state and Federal governments. Both of these two groups must develop diverse and creative out-of-the-box methods of funding that are available no matter what the circumstances are. The vision of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune is still the same. Racing For Education, LLC is just a fresh new approach of providing the resources needed to help make that vision a reality.

Lil’ Wayne Extends “I Am Still Music” Tour
