HIP HOP ICON SNOOP DOGG SET TO ADD SUPERHERO TO HIS ACTING CREDITS WITH HIS LATEST PROJECT “MALICE N WONDERLAND THE MOVIE”

Hip hop icon and Creative Chairman of Priority Records Snoop Dogg is preparing to add the role of superhero to his growing list of titles with the forthcoming release of More Malice: Deluxe Album and Movie on March 23rd.  Accompanying the eight song disc is a 40 minute mini-movie entitled “Malice N Wonderland The Movie” with Snoop playing the lead as a superhero on a mission to save his city.

In the film, the safety of the city is up to Malice (Snoop Dogg) who fights crime and strives to bring peace back to his neighborhood.  Music from the accompanying album is featured throughout.  Cameos in the action packed flick include Jamie Foxx, Xzibit, Nipsey Hussle and more. More Malice: Deluxe Album and Movie features 5 songs from the previously released “Malice N Wonderland” along with 5 entirely new songs and 2 remixes.

The movie will be brought to national audiences with multiple television and online airings.   BET’s popular show “The Deal” will be airing a three-episode special about the movie dedicating two entire shows (March 18th and 19th) to Snoop while he walks viewers through the making of and vision behind the film.  The third episode (March 23rd) will play the movie in it’s entirety.  Spike TV will also air the entire film for their viewers on March 24th.  Check your local listings for air times. DVD Movie Review

Breaking Point starring Tom Berenger, Busta Rhymes, Armand Assante, and “Sticky Fingaz” Jones

A criminal defense lawyer (Tom Berenger), who’s life seems to be falling apart from drugs and a family tragedy, takes a case to defend a man accused of murdering his girlfriend. During the murder, this wrongly accused man’s daughter goes missing. The defendent asks his lawyer to find her. And so the journey begins. An athlete-turned-gang-member (Kirk “Sticky Fingaz” Jones), a drug dealer (Busta Rhymes), plus a corrupt police force and prosecutor (Armand Assante) makes this story and truth finding mission both adventurous and action-packed.

Busta fans might want to rent this movie on a slow weekend night. By the way, the movie soundtrack is pretty nice. “Breaking Point” is rated R. We give it 2 stars out of 5.

Steven Luisi (Tom Berenger), a once prominent criminal defense attorney is attempting to come back to the profession after a struggle with drug addiction and a family tragedy. Steven stumbles into a complex, high profile murder case. Against his better judgment, he takes on the case that will eventually lead him down a path that brings him face to face with his own demons. While trying to solve the case Steven teams up with an ex-athlete turned gang member, Richard “Beanz” Allen ( “Sticky Fingaz” Jones). The two develop a fast friendship. Together they seek to reveal the truth and bring about justice in the court and on the street.
